The Fitting Room
Size guide
One rule matters above all: our coats run generous, and the sizing is cut small at source, so if you are between sizes, take the smaller one. A faux fur coat is meant to sit with a little room, over knitwear and eveningwear alike, so do not size up out of habit.
The table
| Size | UK | Bust (in) | Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 6 | 32 to 34 | Full length ~44in / cropped ~24in |
| S | 8 | 34 to 36 | Full length ~44in / cropped ~25in |
| M | 10 | 36 to 38 | Full length ~45in / cropped ~26in |
| L | 12 | 39 to 41 | Full length ~45in / cropped ~27in |
| XL | 14 to 16 | 42 to 44 | Full length ~46in / cropped ~28in |
Measurements are approximate and vary a little by style; each product page notes anything unusual. The Astoria and Contessa run to XXL.
How to measure
Bust
Tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and breathing normally.
What to wear underneath
Measure over a light top, not bare. These coats are cut to layer over a jumper or a dress, so the fit already allows for it. You do not need extra room on top of the size.
Between sizes?
Size down. The cut is generous and the source sizing runs small; the smaller size almost always gives the cleaner line. This is the opposite of most advice, and it is right for these coats.
